Sandia National Laboratories - MESA Complex Microlab

Overview

Located on the grounds of Kirtland Air Force Base, the Microlab building opened in early 2006 and is one of three new facilities that make up the half-billion-dollar Microsystems and Engineering Sciences Applications (MESA) construction project. The primary intent of the facility is to combine the expertise of three groups—electronics, photronics, and computer visualization—to more quickly imagine and design better microelectronic devices to support the needs of U.S. national security and the nuclear weapons complex of the future.
